A little about Louis

Hi! I’m Louis Yamonico. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. His father’s side of the family is 100% Italian and that’s where I developed my love of food and cooking. It mainly comes from my grandmother Flora who was an amazing person and cook. Later in life I did work for some time as a professional chef at Luppe’s Italian restaurant in Palm Harbor Florida. The place was sold shortly after my brother and I left.

I went on to pursue my childhood dream of being a soldier. I served in the Army national guard for 8 years and the active Army for 3 years stationed in Germany. It was here that I developed a love for photography and travel. I visited many places around Europe and tasted many of the finest cuisines there.

I met my wife Quennie in 2017 through a long distance relationship. I traveled to the Philippines and we were married on May 7th of 2019. Due to process and the pandemic it took 28 months to get her here to America. I wanted to show my wife Florida and the American way of life. That’s when Florida’s Hotspots was born.

A little about Quennie (Queen · ee)

Hi! I’m Quennie Yamonico. I was born and raised in Cagayan De Oro City in the Philippines. In our culture we really grow up with a large family and mine was no different. Both my parents and my Aunt Laura were hard working people and sent me to one of the top schools in the Philippines, Xavier college, where I studied business management and earned my degree.

I worked in a few companies before I met Louis in 2017. We met online and instantly had great chemistry and conversations. There was a brief period of a couple of days when we lost contact due to a technical issue. It was then that we both realized we were in love with each other. Not too long after that Louis came to the Philippines and we were married. It took 28 months before I could finally get my visa and travel to the United States and we could finally be together. We have been traveling together ever since, hoping this is our happily ever after.
