There is nothing like sitting down to a nice meal after spending the day exploring new sites. After our planned destination did not work out we were blessed to find this place located off Gulf Blvd. near St Pete beach. It is hidden inside a shopping plaza and does not look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving. Inside the place is small and only has a few tables but is decorated warm and inviting. The way they prepare and present the dishes here I would classify them as fine dining. They are very meticulous and the food looks and tastes great.

We started off with an Italian classic appetizer Bruschetta. I could tell from the moment the plate arrived we had found another hot spot. The look and taste of this was exceptional. I had not had Bruschetta this good since I lived in Europe many years ago. They also brought some complimentary home made bread with oil and spices to the table. The bread was outstanding. We were ready for our main course.

For dinner I ordered the Frutti DiMare which comes with shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari and cherry tomatoes served over linguini with a white wine garlic sauce. once again the food and presentation was outstanding as well as for my wife’s Blackened Salmon served with creamy cheese risotto and broccolini. This was the best salmon I have ever tasted. All the seafood was very fresh and succulent and everything was seasoned to perfection. For 19-22 dollars this place is also reasonably priced especially when you consider the care that goes into their food. What a find this place was. Italian food done a little different. My only regret is that I was full and could not taste more here. I hope to return one day.
