One of the four major parks of Disney this one rates up there as one of the best parks in Florida. We went for a full day but it was impossible to see everything. As fantasy fans, we started by entering the world of Pandora.

If you are unfamiliar with the Avatar movies Pandora is the world in which they are based. It is really amazing all the detail they put into this part of the park making you feel you are actually walking around in Pandora. The Avatar Flight of Passage ride is a must at this park and was the highlight of the day. In virtual reality you fly around the world of Pandora on the back of a Banshee (A winged bird like creature from the movie). It was really amazing and the feeling of flying around an alien planet was so lifelike and amazing. My wife was screaming and laughing for the duration. The hour and a half wait on line was worth it for this one. We then stopped in at the Satu’li Canteen for a bite to eat. The prices were reasonable here and I got a delicious customized bowl of some healthy food for around 15$. As we didn’t want to wait on another long line we made our way to the Africa part of the park.

First thing we did in Africa was ride the Kilimanjaro Safaris. Thankfully there was no wait here and I have no idea why. Riding around the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, home to over 30 species living in 110 acres of open plains, shady forest landscapes and rocky wetlands. was amazing. We were able to get some great shots of wildlife here on this ride. We both are animal lovers and this ride is a must see at this park if you love animals and nature because both are in abundance. After that we attended the Festival of the Lion King show. All Disney shows are amazing at the parks but this one is one of my favorites. The music of the Lion King is very good and recognizable for me. The actors performed very well and the singing was on point. A great show for all ages. The Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is a nice place to get some exercise as well as see some more wildlife like Hippos, Gorillas, Zebras and more in their natural habitats. Another great place for some amazing shots if your into photography like myself. After this we went to Dino-Land U.S.A to see ancient history.

Dino-Land U.S.A was a little smaller part of the park. As it was getting late we went on one more ride which was DINOSAUR. Here you travel back in time on a perilous prehistoric race to rescue a dinosaur—before the meteor strikes. This ride was so rough and really tossed you around the vehicle in many places. My wife’s neck hurt afterwards and I banged my knee hard against the vehicle on a rough turn. I would not recommend this ride at all as I think it is dangerous. The things to see inside are nice and it is exciting but not work the risk especially if your older. That was really all we had time for this time but look for an update on this one as we go back to visit Asia
